In just three weeks, with the implementation of Reporting.cz, the client received an information base for the managers of local companies as well as for the management level of the entire group with updates on a daily basis. Most of the tasks associated with the seasonal and single-purpose formal compilation of financial consolidation have been abandoned, since most of the outputs and documents are now available on a rolling basis. The mechanical work and error rate associated with the maintenance of ever-increasing Excel files have been replaced by data processing and storage in DWH and online presentation of reports in a web application.

We are moving towards greater ability to analyze and use data in a timely and correct manner for support in decision-making and management. We have a lot of data, and as the development of non-financial reporting approaches, there will be more and more of them.

Jakub Korf: We want to analyze the data in a timely and correct way and use it to support decision-making

We asked to evaluate the experience of the cooperation so far Jakub Korf, group CFO and member of Trigema's board of directors. From his position, he is responsible for the Group's comprehensive financial management, development of financial strategy, improvement of internal control and financing mechanisms, as well as reporting to external stakeholders.

Did the project meet your expectations overall?

The project absolutely met our expectations. This was already so high, considering the very good references we received at Reporting.cz from KPMG.

What do you see as the main benefit for Trigema?

The main benefit, and it is not at all far-fetched, for us lies in shifting the reporting of consolidated results of the Group and its sub-holdings technologically to 2023. For us, the implementation of the consolidation tool means, at least in one regular reporting and analytical activity, the abandonment of endless Excel spreadsheets and moving to the environment of a comprehensive reporting system.

How difficult was the implementation?

In the implementation, two parties met, each of which was well prepared for its role. Reporting.cz with a fine-tuned product, experience and a clear idea of the level of cooperation and what data structure the client needs. And Trigema, with ready data sources (centrally implemented SAP system) and an assembled team that really dedicated itself to the implementation. The entire implementation went very smoothly and quickly, in about 3 weeks.

Where is your company heading in terms of working with data?

We are clearly moving towards greater ability to analyze and use data in a timely and correct manner for support in decision-making and management. We have a lot of data, and as the development of non-financial reporting approaches, there will be more and more of them. We just don't know how to use them properly. Everything is “just “about displaying the right data appropriately, in the right way and at the right time. We aim to gradually integrate data from a variety of sources into a single reporting platform to support us in this effort.

What next reporting project are you planning?

One of the closest challenges so far is the difficult-to-grasp ESG reporting. Detailed monitoring of performance related to construction production, planning, project finance management and last but not least reporting related to rental housing, which is becoming one of the trends of today.
