I see the biggest challenge in the amount of data we will have to sort and analyze in the future. We already have so many of them that it is often difficult to link and visualize them effectively. The challenge for the future will also be that we have to rely as little as possible on the human factor. If the system thought on its own without human intervention, we would achieve better efficiency and at the same time make it easier for employees to work.

Since 1990, Dentamed has focused on ensuring the supply of dental products to dental offices. From the demand for a specific device to the complete instrumentation of dental clinics, offices or laboratories. At Dentamed, they base themselves on a personal approach and correct conduct. Their aim is to adapt to the current developments in the market and to co-shape the high standard of the field of dentistry.

Dentamed supplies dentists on the Czech market with everything they need. From materials, instruments, services to education. We have such a classic good story: the company was founded by the then student of dentistry, Dr. Smažík, and over time it developed into the position of today's market leader, which is part of the multinational Lifco group.
The motivation is simple and still valid today: We have an internal system that we have been developing for 30 years and the whole company works in it. It is stable, functional, and the employees are happy with it. Previously, there was no room for development. Therefore, we were looking for a solution that would provide us with simple online reports that we can access at any time. And even with tablets or phones that our traders use in the field.
We had and we have a common approach. Understanding what we need and what will bring us the greatest effect in the shortest possible time. In cooperation with Reporting, we also appreciate direct communication with people who are fundamentally involved in the resulting solution.
The current system is for several generations, with which Reporting helps us. Recently, I looked through history and found so many versions that it was only at that moment that I realized how the system gradually evolved and expanded. Especially since we have found that we need more and more overviews to fit specific professions in Dentamed.
In the beginning, we worked with the fact that we have a huge number of customers, with each being specific. It was necessary to visualize the performance of each customer so that, for example, the sales representative could view the dates before the meeting and see what the customer was doing, what he needed or might need.
We wanted to motivate sales representatives to work more efficiently. But we couldn't do that without providing them with tools to help them do so. With Reporting.cz we have built an environment that directly develops their potential.
We have already talked about two basic ones — the trader's approach to individual customers and his motivation. The third key point of our cooperation lies in the recent connection of Reporting with our e-commerce. Thanks to this, we can connect individual data from different systems and put it in the right context.
Implementation is gradual and at the same time fast. We set up cooperation in such a way that we define exactly what we need. The Reporting team will then propose improvements based on their experience and the final solution is ready basically immediately.

I still see a great opportunity in that. We've taken a really huge leap in the last five years. On the other hand, I hope that the time when all stores will be online and a person will no longer be needed at all does not await us yet. I appreciate it when I can go out for coffee with a customer and have a chat with him about what is bothering him or what he would need. I am delighted with events like our recent open day, when 160 customers came to us. In short, I believe that that personal contact is needed and will not go away.
I have always worked with data and I have always minted that without information and data one cannot be efficient and successful. Accurately visualized data in different reports based on knowledge of our environment is key for us. This is what Reporting.cz offers us and it also means that our investment has been returned many times over.
